About Us...

Ceilings and More, Inc. and Basement Creations and More are owned and operated by Dan Rothengass. Because Dan has lived in this area since 1970, he has a vested interest in the community. With over 20 years experience - he may have drywalled your house!

We have been serving the Tri-Cities and Fox Valley area since 2000. Dan's first 9 years experience as a commercial carpenter included work at Delnor Hospital, Geneva; St. Peter's Catholic Church, Geneva; St Patrick's Catholic Church Crane Road, St. Charles; Hollywood Casino mainland building, Aurora; and a number of other projects in the area. As a residential carpenter for the next 6 years, Dan's experience included framing houses, installing drywall, finish trim, and acoustic ceiling installation.

We have done some excellent and interesting work over the years. However, only a small portion of that is actually captured in these pages, as it has only been recently that we have started to document our jobs. Unfortunately, this work is now "lost", only to be enjoyed by the respective homeowners and their guests.

We will continue to update the website with pictures when they become available. Hopefully, with time, the picture quantity and quality will continue to increase - no more pictures right after sweeping [dust in the air]. Check back often to see the latest and greatest.
